As part of their executive leadership team, they are looking to appoint a Vice President of Machine Learning to define and execute the company's AI strategy, lead a world-class machine learning organisation, and drive the development of cutting‑edge AI models, deployment platforms, and optimisation technologies across edge, cloud, and enterprise environments.
Vice President of Machine Learning – AI Strategy / Edge AI / Machine Learning Leadership / AI Infrastructure We are currently partnered with an innovative deep-tech company developing next-generation AI acceleration platforms and edge intelligence solutions.
Key responsibilities Define and execute the company‑wide AI and Machine Learning strategy aligned with product, hardware, and commercial objectives Lead and grow a high‑performing ML organisation spanning research, model development, deployment, tooling, and AI infrastructure Drive the development of state‑of‑the‑art AI models across computer vision, large language models (LLMs), vision‑language models (VLMs), and multimodal AI Lead initiatives in model optimisation including quantisation, pruning, compression, and efficient inference for edge AI deployments Oversee AI evaluation frameworks, benchmarking, model serving infrastructure, and development.
