Responsibilities Driving the digital development of production sites in Germany toward AI-supported Smart Factories Establishing efficient AI implementation and operating models, from structured solution development through stable operations to continuous improvement in day-to-day business Applying explainable analysis and modeling approaches (Explainable AI) to make AI-supported decisions transparent, understandable, and actionable for people Continuously monitoring new technologies, methods, and trends, critically assessing them, and selectively transferring suitable approaches into practical, industrial solutions for our production sites Closely collaborating with national and international teams, promoting knowledge transfer, and supporting cross-site harmonization and sustainable scaling of successful solutions Requirements Completed degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification Strong understanding of industrial production and operational processes and the ability to translate these into data- and AI-supported solutions for decision‑making and optimization Solid hands‑on experience in Data Engineering and Machine Learning, with the ability to transition data and AI solutions from development into stable operational production and to continuously advance them Ideally, experience with event‑driven and agent‑based AI approaches and the ability to realistically assess their benefits, limitations, and maturity in an industrial context Strong communication and translation skills to convey complex data, AI, and technology topics clearly, effectively, and appropriately across departments, locations, and cultural boundaries Excellent German and good English skills, both spoken and written #J-18808-Ljbffr
