Director of AI Strategy & Innovation | Enterprise Transformation | (Hybrid) Package: Flexible depending on experience and impact AI Futures have been retained to appoint a Director of AI Strategy & Innovation for a major organisation accelerating its investment in Artificial Intelligence, digital transformation and intelligent automation.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who can define AI strategy, identify high-value use cases and build the organisational capability required to scale AI across the enterprise. Identify high‑impact AI use cases across multiple business functions. Lead enterprise‑wide AI programmes from strategy through to implementation.

Partner with executive stakeholders to align AI investments with business objectives. Establish governance, operating models and best practices for AI delivery. Evaluate emerging AI technologies and drive innovation across the organisation. Represent the AI function at executive level and influence long‑term technology strategy.

The Candidate Proven experience leading AI or digital transformation initiatives within large organisations. Executive leadership experience across Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or Machine Learning. Strong commercial understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, intelligent automation and enterprise AI.

Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to influence at board and executive level. Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to drive execution. Fluent German and English.
