Machine Learning Engineer (AI): Developing and deploying AI-driven security features for WAF and behavioral analysis platforms with an accent on anomaly detection and traffic pattern recognition.
Focus on building robust ML pipelines, optimizing model performance in high-throughput environments, and integrating intelligent solutions into real-time security infrastructure.
Location: Must be based in Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, or Estonia Company Blackwall is building AI‑powered security infrastructure to protect the web from automated threats through real-time protection and behavioral intelligence. Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for model training and evaluation.
Integrate ML models into real‑time security systems like WAF and behavioral analytics engines. Monitor production model performance and perform retraining based on emerging threat patterns. Improve data quality and feature engineering workflows to enhance model accuracy.
Requirements 3+ years of professional experience in ML engineering or data science with production systems. Legal right to work in Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, or Estonia. Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit‑learn. Experience with data pipelines and production deployment of ML models.
Proven ability to work with large datasets and SQL‑based data systems. Understanding of classification techniques and software engineering best practices including version control and CI/CD. Nice to have Experience in security, fraud detection, or traffic analysis. Familiarity with cloud data tooling such as BigQuery, Spark, or Airflow.
Knowledge of LLMs or generative AI frameworks. Background in real‑time or high‑throughput environments. Opportunity to work on complex, high‑impact security infrastructure.
