Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Data Analyst specializing in Sports Analytics to join their fully remote team. You will play a crucial role in deriving actionable insights from complex sports datasets to inform strategic decisions for athletes, teams, and performance operations. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to player performance, game statistics, and fan engagement.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends to provide strategic recommendations.

• Collaborate with coaches, performance staff, and management to translate data insights into actionable strategies.

• Design and implement A/B tests and other analytical experiments to measure the impact of changes.

• Stay current with advancements in data analytics, sports science, and machine learning techniques.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, with a strong focus on sports analytics.

• Proficiency in SQL, Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.

• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.

• Excellent understanding of sports metrics, performance analysis, and statistical modeling.

• Proven ability to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences in a remote setting.
